Our friends on SV Bleach Flea (Captain Greg, wife Lisa, with Abbey and Luke their adorable almost adult kids), who crossed the Pacific Ocean with us back in 2017, sent us a message the day we were leaving Mauritius to let us know they had arrived in Lombok, Indonesia. It has been just short of 11 months since we were in Lombok building a school and it was so cool to see the structure is still in good shape and a trip down memory lane was fun too.
Thanks SV Beach Flea for thinking about us and sharing!
This video was made when we were in Lombok almost a year ago…..Watch for the bloopers at the end of the video (LOL)!
And look at it now..still standing!
It got a paint job….some yellow and green adds a nice touch of color : )
Glad the floor and window treatments are still holing up.
Peter at Medana Bay marina made GReg take this photo as proof he did build the shed he promised with the funds we left for them : ) Thank you!
If you think that was cool….Check out what SV Beach Flea is doing with Waves4Water in Indonesia!

Waves4Water filtration system….The cost is $35 USD or $50 AUD per kit. Their biggest problem is getting them distributed in the outer islands in places like Indonesia. They have committed to purchase some of these kits and distribute them as they make their way through the islands.
