Back to Crater Bay: Maria’s Birthday in true Slow Flight style!

And so…as the story goes…. Maria on SV Serfina was turning another year older….Fred, Captain of Serafina, wasn’t sure exactly sure what to do or where to celebrate…after a short discussion aboard Slow Flight the morning of…it was decided that Slow Flight would host. Trevor and I kicked it up to high gear and got busy cooking and preparing the boat for guests….how many?!….no idea! But whatever….it doesn’t matter…we love to host.

Most of these folks were new to us so it was great to meet everyone and get acquainted with more cruisers around here. Pretty much we all had a good time…I hope : )

Olivia, the owner of the YC’s restaurant/bar and her husband Mjaka who manages charter boats here locally….it was so cool to have them join us and we got to host rather than them taking care of us ashore…right?!

And the party continues….. Princess on SV Jupiter II is a professional singer from the Philippines and was asked to sing at the Nosy Be Yacht Club one night…just happens to be the night after Maria’s birthday….so we must rally once more!

Princess has been singing all her life and professionally in the Philippines but has stopped since February to join her sweetheart, Jamie aboard SV Jupiter II to go sailing!!! Princess…your secret is OUT….we will be requesting your presence at every party!!!
