"Goodbye
Goodbye Georgia Girl

Goodbye is never easy, but sometime necessary….

As excited as we were to finally find our new home, selling Georgia Girl, our first floating home (35 ft. center cockpit Coronado), was difficult. We spent the better part of 6 years on her from 2010-2016. During this period I obtained a master’s degree, TWW hit record revenues, our beloved pets left our living world, and so many memories with friends sailing about the Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands. We sold her to Rick who, in this photo, is taking her to her new home up north to Bellingham. We know she is in good hands and we are just as excited to hear about her upcoming adventures…. (Rick, if you see this, keep in touch and let us know how you and Georgia Girl are fairing).

Selling Georgia Girl was the last official process we needed to achieve before we headed south to live/prepare our new boat for our big adventure. This meant it was time to say “see you later” to our friends and family. As you can imagine, time was running low now that we were “homeless” and emotions were running high. Trevor and I tried to visit and contact as many of you as we could in just a few days. We know we were not able to devote either the proper or appropriate time for each of you but by no means take this as a representation of the love we feel for you all. AND…this is not a goodbye forever…..we hope to stay connected and exchange life’s adventures through various mediums, this blog being one of them.

We love you and can’t wait to hear your life adventures and challenges!
