<\/p>\nWell, originally we had planned to stay in San Diego for 3 nights and then head to Ensenada……but the generator blew up in Catalina Island and we have been sorting it out ever since. \u00a0The short of the long story is we finally found a new replacement generator (Fisher-Panda) in Florida that we will have shipped out to us this weekend ($$$$$). \u00a0With the San Diego boat show and heavy into the boating season for the summer, all other distributors were 2-3 weeks for a delivery. \u00a0Needless to say, waiting for phone calls and endless research online we think we finally have a plan “D”. \u00a0Hopefully the new generator will be installed by the end of next week. \u00a0More to come on that project!<\/p>\n
In the mean time, we decided to install the 2 solar panels we purchased and had planned to install in Mexico. \u00a0Currently Trevor is hooking the panels up to our battery bank but the install over the dinghy davits worked out good after much discussion about where to mount them, we found the perfect place that did not require us to special order stainless steel or Uber to a Home Depot. \u00a0It did however require us to do a huge purchase at West Marine.<\/p>\n

We also installed rail boards to hold additional diesel and gasoline jugs.<\/p>\n
